Use of Google Analytics

This website makes use of the service “Google Analytics” provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA, 94043, USA) for analyzing how visitors use our website. This service utilizes “cookies” – text files that are saved onto your system. The information gathered by these cookies is generally transferred and stored on a Google server in the US.

This website anonymized the IP addresses of its users. User IP addresses are shortened within the member states of the EU and of the European Economic Community. Shortening IP addresses prevents their association with specific individuals. In the scope of the agreement related to the contract processing agreement, which the website operators have conclude with Google Inc., the latter uses the collected information to analyze website usage and website activity as well as to provide services associated with website usage.

You have the option of preventing cookies from being saved onto your device by adjusting the corresponding settings in your internet browser. If your browser prevents cookies from being saved, we cannot guarantee that all of the functions found on this website will be accessible without restrictions.

Additionally, you may activate a browser plugin to prevent cookies from transferring the collected data (including your IP address) to Google Inc. and being used by the latter. This plugin can be found under the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de More information about how Google Inc. uses data can be found here: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de

Another option is to simply click on this link to prevent Google Analytics from collecting information about you through this website. Click on the link above to download the “opt-out cookie”. This requires that your browser allows for cookies to be saved. If you regularly delete your cookies, you will need to click on the link above every time you visit our website.

Use of Google Webfonts

In order to properly and visually display the content of our website across various browsers, we make use of script and font libraries, such as Google Webfonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts/). Google Webfonts are transferred to your device in order to prevent multiple loading in the cache of your internet browser. If your browser does not support Google Webfonts or prevents access, the contents of our website will be displayed using a standard font.

Loading script or font libraries automatically establishes a connection to the operator of the font library. This makes it theoretically possible for the operator to collect data to collect information from a specific – though it is currently unclear whether this occurs and for what reasons.

The data protection guidelines of the Google library server can be found here: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/

Use of Google Maps

This website makes use of Google Maps API in order to visually display geographic information. When using Google Maps, Google also collects, processes and uses data about the use of its maps functions by the user. Additional information about data processes by Google can be found in the Google data protection notices. You can also change your personal data protection settings here in the data protection center.

Detailed information about the use of your own data in connection with Google products can be found here.

Embedded YouTube videos

Some pages on our internet site include embedded YouTube videos. The operator of this plugin is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, VA, 94066, USA. Whenever you visit a page with a YouTube plugin, a connection will be established to the YouTube servers. This connection transfers information to YouTube about which pages you are visiting. Whenever you are logged into your YouTube account, YouTube can match your browsing behavior to your person. You can disable this by logging out of your YouTube account.

Whenever a YouTube video starts, the operator enables cookies that collect data about user behavior.

If you have deactivated the storage of cookies for the Google Ad program, such cookies will not be saved when you view YouTube videos. YouTube also stores non-personal usage information in other cookies. If you would like to disable this, adjust the settings in your internet browser to prevent the storage of cookies.

Additional information about data protection in relation to “YouTube” can be found in the operator’s data protection declaration at: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/

Social Plugins

Our website offers users the option of using so-called “social media buttons”. In order to protect your data, we opted for the “Shariff” solution upon implementation. This means that these buttons on the website are only integrated as a graphic containing a link to the corresponding website of the button provider. By clicking on the graphic, you will immediately be redirected to the services of the respective provider. Your data will only be transferred once you are on the website of the provider. Provided that you do not click on this graphic, there will be no form of exchange between you and the providers of the social media buttons. Information regarding the collection and use of your data on social media networks can be found in the use conditions of the respective provider.
More information about the Shariff solution can be found here: http://www.heise.de/ct/artikel/Shariff-Social-Media-Buttons-mit-Datenschutz-2467514.html

We have incorporated social media buttons of the following companies on our website:

XING AG (Gänsemarkt 43 - 20354 Hamburg - Germany)
LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company (Wilton Place - Dublin 2 - Ireland)

  • if this is legal permissible and necessary for maintaining a contractual relationship in accordance with Art. 6 (1) section 1 (b) of the GDPR.
