“If you can make it there, you’ll make it anywhere” is the well-known refrain sung by Frank Sinatra in reference to New York. Yet, the “New York” of lean management and innovation is undoubtedly Japan. Whoever is capable of implementing lean solutions in Japan can implement them anywhere. That’s why we decided to set up a branch office in Tokyo in 2002 – and we can now justifiably make the claim that we know and master the Japanese production system from head to toe and can even contribute to its further development. As such, it comes as little surprise that so many Japanese companies also place their confidence in us.

With our two branch offices in Germany and Japan, we play in the “Champions League” of the automotive, machine and facility engineering industries when it comes to innovation management and improvements. And the same logic applies here: Whoever has mastered the automotive, machine and facility engineering industries in Germany and Japan can surely master them anywhere on the planet.

Japanese and German industries are activating open collaborations to develop new industries through innovations in high technology fields such as future mobility, digital engineering, next-generation energy, global environmental protection and healthcare etc.
